How to remove spyware with Online Armor
How can I remove spyware infections?
Online Armor does not work the same as other security tools. Instead of focusing on removing infestations, Online Armor works with you to prevent them. Nevertheless, if used correctly Online Armor has powerful spyware removal features.
Program Blocking
If you have a persistent bit of spyware, Online Armor's program blocker can help. To stop it running, select the program in the"'Programs" window and press BLOCK. This will stop the program from being allowed to run.
Remove unwanted Browser Helper Objects, Toolbars, URL Search hooks
The IE Extensions window in Online Armor lists all of the installed extensions to Internet Explorer. In this window you are able to BLOCK objects from being allowed to work with Internet Explorer. Once you block an object, it is not allowed to come back.
Use the startups manager to stop programs auto starting
In the "Startups" window, prevent suspect programs from starting automatically with Windows. This can aid removal of the programs post infection.
