Startup Items
What does it do?
The "Startup Items" page in Online Armor lists programs which are set to start with your computer. These programs are listed, along with their status (Trusted, Dangerous or Unknown) so you can decide if you want them to run, or not.
Why is this important?
Malicious programs need to start before they can damage your computer, invade your privacy or display advertisements. By controlling which programs are allowed to automatically start with your computer, you gain an important ability to prevent these programs from starting.
Online Armor's trusted programs list helps you to make these decisions during the safety check wizard.
